The MFC 12 to 16-hour state of the art online training program and certification process starts out with the student logging into their MFC “Dashboard”. The MFC dashboard:

  • Provides access to the MFC online training modules
  • Provides access to the MFC digital textbook
  • Displays real-time student progress
  • Provides access to training records and certificates of completion
  • Assists in scheduling a student’s hands on certification session
  • Provides access into the MFC online continuing education modules, physical fitness and nutrition areas, and much more!

The MFC online training program uses several different slide types along with inputs on the material from a very diverse group of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) throughout the following six modules:

Module 1 – Up Front - General
Module 2 Part 1 – Managing Readiness
Module 2 Part 2 – Managing Readiness
Module 3 – EMS Service Delivery
Module 4 – Managing Human Resources
Module 5 – Managing Issues/Problems

The successful completion of the MFC online training program is the first step in the certification process. Once the student has successfully passed the online training program with an 80% or higher cognitive test score, they will be eligible to attend a 3-day MFC scenario, evaluation lab. Students must attend an evaluation sim lab within 1 year from completing the online training program.
