MFC - Instructor Training and Certification

A key goal of the MFC Training and Certification Program is to empower individual departments or regions to autonomously administer the MFC training, certification, and evaluation processes. This approach allows for tailoring the program to meet local needs, including demographics, resource availability, and specific SOPs.

Prospective instructors begin their journey with the MFC online training module, accessible at www.managingafirecompany.com. Upon successful completion of this online component, candidates become eligible to participate in our comprehensive Train the Trainer (TtT) program.

The TtT experience includes a preliminary 2-hour introductory session conducted via Zoom, followed by three consecutive days of intensive, in-person training, each lasting 8 hours. During the TtT course, participants will delve into detailed lesson plans and receive advanced instruction on two key evaluation scenarios, MFC training modules, instructor-led PowerPoint presentations, and Continuing Education (CE) materials. This rigorous program is designed to thoroughly prepare instructors to effectively deliver and manage the MFC curriculum in their respective regions or departments.
